The life and legacy of a Chinese-Sanskrit scholar Xu Fancheng, who lived in India a period of 33 years (1945 to 1978) and translated numerous Indian Classical literature, Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, contemporary writings, as well as the works of Sri Aurobindo and Mother Mirra Alfassa to classical Chinese. 

Chinese Ambassador to India H.E Luo Zhaohui was a former student of Xu Fancheng. The event wishes to build a spiritual and cultural relation between India and China through the works of the great scholar and artist XuFancheng.
